Come to think of it, dictation is one of the most useful exercises for making sure that you do understand Italian when you hear it and that you know how to write it properly. It is also very useful for understanding the pronunciation of Italian better as the words are delivered at slow speed. It's a pity that schools nowadays seem to have forgotten about basic tools such as this. Luckily, we at Scuolitalia do not look at what is popular elsewhere, but
only at what is effective for you and for your Italian learning!
The text has been divided into 4 parts each averaging 4-5 minutes. Both the whole text and each of the 4 parts can be previewed so that you can have an idea of what they look like before beginning with the actual exercise.
