Maria's Blog is just a normal blog where our Maria Paola (or Maria for short) tells us about her daily life, thoughts and feelings. In doing so, she uses normal Italian with no attempt at simplifying it. Luckily, the translation provided lets you understand everything. And if that is not enough, you know that you can always ask us!

Settèmbre è ormài àlle pòrte é kwésto méze di agósto, ké sta pér finìre, a mìa memòrya è stàto ùno déi pyù kàldi déllhi ùltimi ànni.
September is now to the doors and this months of August, that is for ending, to my memory has been one of the more hot of the recent years.

The last weeks, then, the humidity has been highest. The other yesterday seemed would decreased the fog, but then the sun is emerged and the haze is disappeared. But is remained the sultriness ... terrible.

Despite this I'm sorry that the summer is almost over. You'll say to me: " But not will be autumn up to 23rd september! ". But for me the end of August marks the end of the summer.

Already from long (time) I am became aware of the days are shortened, the children not play more in garden after dinner, the dark falls already while we iare at table, and this is the first signal of the exchange of season.

And it is own as says a song " ... the summer resembles to a game, it is stupendous but lasts few ... " and leaves the place ti the autumn bringing way with itself the long days of sun, the trips, the vacation, the friendships and also the loves - those estival that last only a months.
